We all appreciate niceties, but they have to start with ourselves….once you hit the publishing button, it’s out there in the world and you never know who reads what you write!
So, let me start by introducing myself. I’m a Portuguese teacher of English and I teach students about your age. For about 2 weeks that we’ve been living under extraordinary circumstances, in lockdown, and I’m the only one who leaves the house and just to go shopping. You know what hurts me most right now? Not being able to see and greet my elderly parents and spending quality time with other members of my family. I miss school, sure I do, but, above all, my relatives.
What about you and where you live? Do you like reading? If yes, what’s your favourite book / author?

My name is Ms. Teri, and I’m a volunteer commenter: Teri — #stubc commenter. I love the picture of the beach and ocean on your header. The beach is my favorite vacation spot.
The coronavirus is making life miserable here in the United States. I live in Ohio. Things are bad, but not nearly as bad as in New York and California. My son is a junior in high school and has been out of school now for 3 weeks. He is missing his friends. Our govenor has ordered us to stay at home, unless we have to go to the grocery store. I hope this will be over very, very soon.
In the meantime, I look forward to following your blog.
